where can I find parts compatibility list?

I am looking on Ebay for a lower unit for my motor, does anyone know where I can find a list of ones that will interchange with mine?<br />I have a 1980 50 Evinrude.

I don't know of an on-line source, but your Johnson or Evinrude dealer has a chart to answer your question.<br />Backfire

Thanks guys, that is kinda what I thought.<br />They hardly change those at all, I popped the hood off a 2004 50 horse at work and other that some electrical stuff it looked identical.<br />If it doesnt fit I will just resell it and try again.
