where can i find what a boat weighs??

trying to figure out what this 86 268 weekender weighs? I found one site that said it weighs over 6000lbs the guy i bought it from said it weighed around 4600 lbs

sorry it's a searay yes nada shows it at around 5300lb

that's dry weight. with the i/o engine. as it came from the factory. add trailer, fuel, gear, beer. water in water tank. etc. 6000 aint far off.

Is finding the weight for towing purposes? If so, drag it to any truck stop. They will weigh the unit as you will use it. In my area the truck stop charges about a buck and a half. So, the next time you are headed to the water, loaded down, just swing by the T. S.; then you will know for sure.
