I have checked IBoats and other sources for an ignition switch and cannot find the correct replacement.
My switch is a 3 position switch with 6 push on terminals made by Indak.
I purchased a switch with 5 terminals that the dealer said would work on my 1995 Mariner 25 hp el remote.
The problem is some the letters on the switch are not the same.
The new switch is screw on and lettered B, M, S, A, M. The old switch was lettered B, M, I, M, S, C. I know the red&black go to B. I put the 2 black wires on one of the M's.
The yellow with red stripe on S.
I don't know where the 2 purple and 2 yellow with black stripe wires go. I think one of the yellow and black wires is for an electric choke, which I don't have, it has manual choke. I hope someone out there knows how to wire this switch. Thank you.
