I have a '68 Mariner 650. I didn't intend it to be a project but apparently it and I had different ideas of what a good running used boat should be. Any way I have decided to rebuild the carbs on the engine. The local dealer wants $80 (yes 80) dollars per carb for the kits. That's the parts price!!!! I found some listed here online but they are out of stock. Price was $17. Question is does anyone know where I can get two carb kits for roughly the online price of $20?

Thanks in advance.

Fantastic!! thank you. Have to check the serial # for sure but looks like the parts are available.

Funny I was calling it a Mercury and folks here were telling me it's a Mariner. Says Mercury on the covers. Sheesh lots to learn with this boating stuff obviously. Canoes and kayaks are so much easier. :)

This was supposed to be my boat to see if I like boating and then get a newer one. Problem is I really like this little critter and now it's like a challenge to get it running properly. May as well learn a little while I'm doing it right?
