I agree it's not relevent to most of the people here, but I get "Woodenboat" as well. Charter subscriber & still have issue #1 (and almost all of the issues to date).

I do buy woodenboat from time to time but it usually gives me bad ideas, like "hey, I should really buy an old boat and restore it!". What I do like about it is the occaisional "how to" article documenting how to do interesting projects. I still have the issue about rewiring a panel.

Like Don pointed out, sometimes print just works better for use in the, er, "reading room", or in the workshop.

If it's not free I don't mess with it. Not much money left over to buy magazines after spending all my money on epoxy and fiberglass. :facepalm:

most of the magazines are now "advertorials" as someone put it--no real info, never a negative word about the product they (are paid) to review or the places they (are paid to) write about.

Exactly why I don't bother with any of them

I think Boating World has shut sown as well.

Nope - just got next month's issue in the mail on Saturday.
