Where did you buy the epoxy to do your floor?

I am getting the last of my supplies to do my floor I was wondering where can I get epoxy to coat my floor?

So whhere do most people get their epoxy?
Can I find it at a walmart, home depot, lowes or one of the auto supply places?

You can find them in Home Cheapo's, Lowes. etc. but you really don't need to spend the extra money for epoxy when a polyster resin will do pretty much the same job at a lower cost. Even though epoxy is a stronger product if all you are trying to do is make a waterproof barrier then the poly is all you need.
Will you be doing this on new wood or reapplying over existing?

Do I look for just polyster resin ? Give me more info. Saving money is always a good thing..

Just go to Auto Zone or any parts store and you can find it. I think a gallon is about $30, that includes the hardener.

would this work for coating the wood an such for floors? and i built a new console would this work for covering it also?

Just go to Auto Zone or any parts store and you can find it.

Be VERY, VERY careful of resins, ANY OF THEM that have been sitting on a store shelf for a long time. They DO have a shelf life and you would be better off ordering fresh resin for a reputable supplier: www.uscomposites.com

and, Yes either type of resin will work, both have their advantages and disadvantages..
