Either forum is fine, the SC forum used to see more traffic then others, and better SC tin boat spexific help, but its traffic is down some.....
for a windshield, its a toss up as to whether here or there might be better.
if you ever think you're topic would be better served in another forum, just PM any Mod and we can move it for you.
find a derelict boat w a good windshield (that can be made to or does fit) and junk what you can use/sell. Thats what GA_boater did w his SC.
or if you have the old frame, diy a new windshield to fit your frame..... if you have the time, patience and skill, make your own frame too.... at least 1 member did. Andgot @ his Lake and Sea if I remember correctly.
