Where do I put the 'Muffs' or water hose into a 1969 'Starflite' Evinrude 100?

The title says it all...I don't see any vents or screens on this engine like on my old one..so where does it suck the water in?<br /><br />Thanks!<br />Shawn

I believe the water pickup is at the rear of the lower unit below cavitation plate that requires an old style clip-on flush attachment.

i have a 66 evinrude, and there are four pickups, couldn't get mine to work on muffs. thought mine was under cavitation plate also, but would only work in a test tank.
