My previous post was when I lived in Florida, but there is a boat junk yard over near us off of I-85. I think it would be considered Anderson, but I am not sure. I see it on my way to Lake Hartwell.

Here are two examples at our Marina...

The first is a higher 30' Wood Sportfish. Looked like it was a very nice boat at one point in its life. I figure this one is close to being chopped up and destroyed.

The second is a 31' or 32' Pacemaker. This boat was in very good shape, brand new canvas, etc... I guess it had electrical issues and has been on the hard for many years. I was able to snag a few useful items off it, but it's sad to see a boat like that sit, and fully expect it to never see the water again.

There's a boat sitting upside down in a wash in North Las Vegas, but the law says that if it's on public land, it has to be salvaged by a law enforcenent agency. If it was stolen, I wouldn't want it anyway. Still ---- a free boat?
