Where do you find replacement bench seats?

Hello all,<br /><br />I'm seriously considering a total reconditioning of the boat I recently bought. One of the first things I want to do is to replace the seats, which are just garbage. Where do I go to find the wider style front seats though? It's a ski boat with vinyl bench seats in the front that lift up to reveal storage areas. If replacements can't be found, what would be a good replacement material to put here? I'd also like maybe a back to back rear bench seat. Any ideas of what to use to build one?

Build your seat frames out of 1/2" plywood, Then cover with the Foam,+ Vinyl of your Choice....

Or, build your seat frames and use outdoor furniture cushions. Easy to clean, replace, etc. and gives the ladies a vested interest in your boat...they can help you keep the latest style/color cushions in there. Works for me.

I know this sounds dumb, but what kind of foam can I use? I can't think of anything off the top of my head that would be nice and soft yet water proof.<br /><br />Mike

I saw a guy seal his foam in breathable plastic bags before covering them with the vinyl... great idea for keeping moisture and mildew out of the seat

use liquid nails to glue the frames down, dont screw into them from the bottom, to take em out, all you do is pry them out, use the liquid nails sparingly though. you could also use silly cone.
