Next to my garage. Too big to fit inside, so for the summer she gets the new slab on the side.

Re: Where do you keep your boat?

When I built my house I had a 12 foot double-wide gate installed on the side of the house. I also laid about 3-4 inches of granite gravel down the side of the house. The boat sits behind the fence, on the gravel, and under a 12X20 foot heavy duty tarp. It is safe and well protected there, but I do wish I could move the boat into the garage. Someday I would like to pour a concrete pad to replace the granite, but gravel works just fine.

stays in the back yard with the other toys planning on getting one of them aluminum carports this year with my gubment check. I put concrete walking steps down under the tires and jacks to stop rot and keep them from sinking into the ground.

Re: Where do you keep your boat?

My boat is parked in one of those portable garages beside my house. It keeps it out of the sun, rain, wind and snow and only cost $300 on sale. After a year it is holding up great, there are a couple of tears in the door where it rubs on the winch and jack but the reinforcing in the UV stabilized fabric keeps it from ripping further.

keep mine in a separate garage in the back yard I built specifically for the boat and tow vehicle. (I guess this is where we explain OTHER).

Driveway right now. Some day I hope to put it in my garage but we still have too much junk in there. We don't even have room for cars in there... lol. Some day we will have room... some day:rolleyes:

Re: Where do you keep your boat?

In the two car garage, which is the deciding factor of how big of a boat I can buy :(

It sits crossways and I have to jack it up and put it on trailer dollys to get it in the door. I have about 3" of clearance on each side when entering the garage door. Believe it or not I have the the whole ordeal down to ten minutes going and coming.

If I ever build another house then I am going to have a four car garage and one of the bays will be very tall and deep to accommodate a much bigger boat.

I love having it in the garage so I can tinker with it at night with plenty of light and my tools are close at hand.

We keep our boat next to our camper at a campground/resort ~50 minutes from our house and ~5 minutes from the launch ramp.

I'm mildly concerned about vandalism, but we are not the only boat at the campground and it's a pretty decent place.

I keep mine at the lake fully covered under a 50' awning next to the mobile home. Keeps it and the trailer looking like new.

Re: Where do you keep your boat?

I have a funky dogleg culdesac lot so I have a huge sideyard and no backyard. I wish I could put at least one of the boats in the back for security. No problems yet with one in the driveway and one on the street. The wife says it would look bad to put it in the sideyard.

We are going to remodel and add on next year. I have allready proposed to widen and push driveway through double gate into rear at the same time. She isn't impressed with losing what little backyard she has.
