BTW, what is a carport?

Usually a single parking stall, but sometimes double, connected to the house with a roof over it. Might or might not have walls on 3 sides. No garage door. Often used in the warmer southern states.

I keep mine on the trailer with a tarp that has two vents in it to keep mildew away. Most of the time I hitch up, back up and in the water, I have a ramp that works for me about 50' behind the boat.

My 15-year-old bass boat takes up 2 of the 3 spaces in the garage while my new truck sits outside. My wife doesn't understand me.

i wish i had a shed to back the boat under, just a small enclosure to keep it dry. It is hard to keep water from pooling on the tarp, and pushing it down.

(At first I thought you had a design flaw where you walk down the stairs and step right off the side of the pier, but I now see it's really just an illusion trick of the shadow!)

Mine stays covered in a storage yard in the winter, and either in a slip, or at the marina on a trailer in the summer. Last year was in a slip, and this year due to the economy will be on a trailer at the marina. I can use their launch and save myself some money.

Side of the house in winter. On the driveway during the season when not at the marina. Always covered.

At the moment, I am keeping it in the driveway with a cover.
I am working on rearranging my 30'x38' shop so I can put the boat inside. I either have to buy one of those canvas enclosures and put my rock crawler inside of that, and move my Pontiac from between my lift legs, OR put one of my cars(that don't leak) up on the lift, and put the boat underneath.

bought a 24 by 12 coverit / ezup style tent/garage. about the same price as a real good mooring cover, and the whole boat stays dry, also can work on it out of the rain and sun. made it thru the winter ok, just dont let the snow build up on it. is that a mid year vette ? i love those...

On the trailer except when it's in the water. Seriously it's in the garage sometimes but outside most of time under cover. I store it in our Fairgrounds Big Red Barn for the winter.

I keep mine in a fenced in security area provided by my park....

Keep it on the trailer and covered.

Mine stays in one of those portable garages (10 X 20 foot) when I'm not using it. Living in the Arctic it stays in there from October to June without moving. That's when I open up my other portable garage and fire up the snowmobile!!!!
