where does console go on 1985 Ski Barge?

we are refurbishing a 1985 ski barge, by dilks and co mfg, arkansas. Manufacturer is out of business. We are installing a new console/steering assembly. Do we center it on the midline, or were they offset? Even a picture of one of these would really help. We just want the balance to be the same as when the boat was manufactured. we will use a 75h evinrude o/b, and a 10h evinrude o/b. we are stuck at this point of the project! thank you very much.

rookie mistake! the 1985 Ski Barge is 17ft.

gino150,<br /><br />If you want the boat to be a center console. It goes dead center.<br /><br />If you are replacing the steering cable, you havesome choice as to how far forward or aft.<br /><br />Before I mounted the console, I would float the boat to see where the center of gravity (CG) is (fore and aft).
