Where have all the smaller Doral Owners Gone ???

Still got our Doral 164 although it is currently for sale as we bought the Marada in the latter part of the season. The entire family are sad that she has to go as that is the boat they all cut their teeth on driving, tubing and skiing.
However when I suggested we sell the Marada and keep it they seemed to change their minds pretty quick
Anyway......where are all the members with the smaller Doral's ????

Yep we are.....a good few hours from you though. We have a 164 model. Sadly for sale shortly. Just got to make sure it fires up OK after winter first.

Ready for the new Season Kenmyfam? The 26th is coming fast . If your up for a visit we are in Section 4, my Galaxy will be parked where we parked last time you were out. We may run it up to Wildwood this summer at some point, maybe we can cruise. After uncovering the boat today I started to regret selling my Doral, Really not looking forward to another interior over haul

Hey Rick,
Great to hear from you. Yep, we will be heading up to Wildwood on 26th (real early) Taking the trailer up that weekend and setting up the seasonal camp again and the boat up likely the following weekend. Would be great to see you again and we can compare new boats We will have the boat in the seasonal dock. Come look us up. May get to your place at some point as well.
Still got our Doral but sadly for sale now.

We are shutting the shop down Fri the 26th to get our trailers and boats in before everyone else not much to compare for boats. Mine looks like heck, but cash is tight so it will have to be done pc by pc.

Here are some shots I took last year of her after I Did the Vortec Conversion and splashed some paint on her, gave her some Decals.

Our Doral bow rider was our first big boy boat. We bought it new. It was such a piece of crap that we are now soured on boating and sold the piece of junk (and of course took a huge bath in the process). For me, them going out of business is what they deserved.

Oh well. On to the next thing.

Aha, I know next to nothing about the newer Doral's therefore can not comment on the quality. The 1980's and early 1990's smaller models were great quality and well built.
Sorry you had a bad time with yours.

hello , yes that's me , I don't know what happened , I kept trying to log in and for some reason it would not let me in . anyway I see you have a camper , we were in Windsor at tha rv show , the wife would like to buy a camping trailor , she says I need to get out and soicalize , I told her to let me buy my donzi and I will meet all kinds of people while I am out racing it . by the way whats with the random question thing now ?

Random question thing ??? Welcome back anyway. Trying to remember your old handle ?? We were at the RV show as well on Saturday afternoon. We were killing some time between a wedding ceremony and the reception. We have our camper near St Mary's and Wildwood lake.

hello , I used to be the canman , I made tin cans in chatham for 35 years . I joined this website back in 2006 . I will be glad when I get my boat back , I bought a bucket seat for it to replace the back to back on my side and I bought a new indash depthfinder for it . the only thing left to do on it is get a binimi top for it and its ready to go and a wax job .any way that's about it for now .
