I have a 3.7 mercruiser (4cyl)/Alpha one, I do have a manual, but it's at the house. I am at the office where I am suppose to be "working", but I was thinking about my fuel filter and how I forgot to clean/or get new one this last winter. Can someone tell me where it is located on my motor? Also is it an easy thing to change? Any help would be appreciated! PEACE!!

If you have a water separating fuel filter it looks like an oil filter. Should be easy to spot. There's also a screen where the fuel line connects to the carb.

Re: Where is my Fuel Filter

Shane, My '88 Mercruiser has a filter "stone" on the top of the mechanical fuel pump, which bolts to the motor. It also has a pleated, paper filter on a fitting where the fuel line attaches to the carb. It did not come from the factory with a fuel/water seperator.
