H hoot Chief Petty Officer Joined Sep 8, 2002 Messages 434 Jun 7, 2005 #2 Re: where is my idle adjustment screw? no picture here. i have a mercarb 2bbl. the idle screw is not on the carb. it is on a bracket on the back side of the carb. it adjust the throttle position. watch your throttle linkage around the carb and see if you have the same thing.
