I had a 16FT boat and a trailer with 6ft guide tubes on each side and a 4cyl gmc Sonoma 2wd manual... With that in mind this is what Happened.... Im in the boat, The wife is in the truck. I already alinged the truck so all she had to do was back up 10ft and stop...So there we were backing up and up and up...I yell stop at the 9ft spot...Still going...At 11ft she stops...Whew. Now the boats afloat so I tell her to go. so now she rolls back 2 more feet and the back wheels start spining and and back she goes with the pedal to the ground. From my view I could see thoes poles about 15 feet under water and the truck quickly got pulled into the lake. She climbs out the window and like the Titanic my truck goes down with the trailer still attached. At this point I am laughing so damn hard I cant stop. She is yelling at me to "save her" altough she is in no danger at all. So I jump in holding the rope and we swim to the ramp. She beet me to the ramp stands up and falls down...I guess some algie grew there and it was like Ice. Well I did the same damn thing and fell down this time I let go of the rope and the boat goes floating into the lake...Well a few hours later a big ford and a local diver comes bye with a huge chain and pulls the rig out for us. He said my truck was about 40 feet under... Even better, there was three big fish in the truck so the day wasent that bad after all.
