I looked on both sides and found nothing. Is a 3.7 a 140hp motor? Thanks.

Is this a 3.7 (aka 470) or a 140 (3.0L Chevy engine)? Big difference.

I use a large size coffee can or a small bucket, placed right under the spot where the hose goes from the intake manifold to the water pump. Disconnet hose from WP, should catch 99% of the coolant. Should take about 3+ fills of the bucket and drain most of the coolant from the engine. Quick, easy drain.

How can you say it's obvious with that discription? A 140 is a 3.0L

The only ID on it is Mercruiser 3.7 Litre and a serial number. I looked in 3 manuals and can't find any way to identify so far. Maybe one of you can tell me what to look for.

I think it has 165 hp now.
