D DJ Guest Mar 22, 2010 #2 Re: Where is the hose that goes on this fitting go? Looks like the telltale port. It shoots water out of the block to vent it and let you know the water pump is working. It should go to an opening in the bottom cowl.

No, it's 1/8 NPT; get a plug from the plumbing department at your local hardware store. You can also use that elbow for the connection for a water pressure gauge if you want.
