I have a 1983 Suzuki DT75 and I am trying to time it. The manual says to adjust the throttle stop screw to 1000 rpms before adjusting the flywheel to 7 degrees ATDC. So where is the Throttle Stop Screw?

Thanks in advance.

Pop the cowling. Move the throttle linkage and look at what's moving. Somewhere along one of the moving arms you should see a screw with a spring on it, maybe a nylon knurled end on it (for finger turning) that hits something else when the throttle is at or near it's lowest setting. Screw it in to increase rpm's.
