where is water pump outlet located

I have a 1955 evinrude 15 hp and I installed a water pump but I dont know if i installed it right. I installed it with water pump housing in your hand i placed the prongs ccw then placed it on the lower housing. I would like to know where the water outlet is located. model 15014-05318

You can put an impellere in with them "bent" backwards and they will straighten out as soon as it starts turning over.<br /><br />There is only a mist to be seen in the exhaust through the bypass outlet above the waterline. It may take a minute or two for the thermostat to open if it has one. But a rough water spray will be present in that exhaust.

thanks i finally got it watering but have to check gas tank and carbs out wanting to die after a little time running. if you keep pumping tank up it will run tank i believe i need new tank. thanks alot
