It's called "global climate change." The net effect is warming, but in some places at some times, the result is cooling. That was explained in SgtMaj's original post.

It is hard for the average guy to talk about a theory like "global warming" when the effects are the "mean average" of the world and not his country.

If you want people to under "global warming" should show more people the dwindling glaciers or the land grab in Greenland (now that there is land).

To the average "Joe six pack" (sorry), it does seem colder.

SO SORRY but in keeping with the new feel good and liberal mentality we thought we would share the (wealth) cold. serioulsy global warming is just the politcal feel good and money maker of the day. research "time magazine global cooling" on yahoo and you will find out what i was taught in the 60's that we were heading into global cooling. the headlines then were we are going to be in another iceage by the year 2000. any PLUMBER will tell you that 3% of anything will not harm 97% of the whole. the "EXPERTS" On global warming will even admit mankind only produces 3% of all greenhouse gasses. the rest is natural. just an after thought though, haven't we been warming up since the last iceage? Also i gues we didnt melt all the snowpack in the artic like predicted this summer did we. just another hoax to line someone's pockets!!!!!!!!
