Where the hell is it ...

<br />I have a 1999 Baja 342 Boss edition and my freshwater pump crapped out on me. I would like to repair it ... if I would know where it was.<br />I don't have the manuals anymore and for the live of me...I can't seem to find the damn pump anywhere. I had almost all panels down and looked even behind the fridge ....<br /><br />Any help or pointers would be appreciated.<br />Thanks

Dunno on the 342, but can't you just trace the hose from the tank (my freshwater tank is in the engine compartment) and locate pump that way?<br />Is pump running but not pumping?

I believe my tank is under the seats etc. next to the gas tank. Would have to take all that crap out to be sure <br />It's definitely not in the engine compartment.<br /><br />When I follow the lines, they all disappear somewhere in the bottom of the hull.<br />I just can't believe they would put a pump next to the gas tank

Have you pulled (unscrewed) the access hatches in the floor and looked around?<br />A friend is an engineer at Baja (factory just up the highway) I'll ask him about the pump for ya.

"The fresh water tank and pump on a 342 are located under the Port <br />Bolster!<br />The bolster has to come out and the small fiberglass floor that the <br />bolster<br />sits on has to come out and the pump will be under there!"
