I'm looking at purchasing a Garmin 60csx portable GPS unit for boating, hiking, and geocaching. Lowest price I can find is $383.00 online including shipping. Anyone have any experience with this unit and/or do you have any recommedations on where I can get a better price on it?

Thanks

Can't help you with the hand held but I bought my Lowrance 332C at a boat show and saved over $100.00 over the best price I found on the internet. I bought it from West Marine and was surprised at the price since much of what they sell is at list price.

That's not a bad price. About the same as ebay. I considered a 60csx but my eyes are not they used to be and went with a 76c for the larger screen size. I like the features of the 60 with the ability to have the SD card loaded.

I also just purchased the topo software which is 1:100000 becasue the "better" maps (which are the park maps @ 1:24000) did not provide coverage to the areas I frequent.

I picked up my plotter from Northeast Marine Electronics at a great price with fast shipping.

That is as low as you are going to find...I assume that is at Shipdog?

You do know about the rebate right?
