Where to find a 15ft ball/ transom steering cable

I needed a 15 ft ball type thru the transom steering cable for 1974 omc stern drive I found a 20 ft the guy say u could loop it but would that bind the cable?it's was 300 bucks or found a direct fit but it was 900 bucks. Or what about any type of retro fit kit? Or does any one have one for sale? My boat will be ready after I have this cable!

At $900 you could probably sell what you have a convert the thing to a Merc drive.
