Where to find Engine Code

91 GT 150....cowling has Johnson GT 150 Tracker pro series. This is on a 91 Charger 18' bassboat...Where can I find the engine code to be 100% sure this is a true GT? and what would I look for ni the engine code to confirm? I am the 3rd owner and dont belive the cowling was ever replaced, but I would like that peace of mind...Also, is the Tracker Pro Series a sought after engine? Or, is is just another line of the GT 150? I was told if it was a true GT, that it is something alot of ppl are wanting to find..Couldnt find much history on the GT models from google...I take it they may have been under rated some? Larger carbs etc?

it is just a name that Tracker and OMC, came up with to market the boats and motors together. marketing hype.
