Where to find parts

I am having problems finding a ditributor for a 1979 70 hp chrysler outboard. I know that they are not made any more.

My motor model number is 709ha I think. There is no model number on the distributor. If you need any more advice i will be happy to provide it.

Ebay doesnt have one but i havnt tried the other two will let you know after i try them.

My next question is.... can I replace the part with a power pack or any other aftermarket part.

I did open up the distributor and everything lookes ok but it still isnt sending anything out.

The cap it self is a mallory 4000 the replacement is a mallory 4001 you can order it from ajusa.com.
