Where to find rivets?????

I can't seem to find the rivets used for rivetted jon boats. All I can find is regular old pop rivets. If anyone has some help and a link on this, I would really appreciate it.

Ayuh,... Just google up "Closed end pop rivets", or "Solid rivets", your choice....

Any airport around you should have an FBO, fixed base operator. They can sell you rivets. You want AN 470 ADs which are field rivets, have a dimple in the head. You will need a rivet gun with the correct set to fit the rivet head along with a bucking bar. Plan B, if the blind rivet, pop rivet , stem pulls thru, take some epoxy and tap the stem back into the rivet. Plan C, take the boat to them and tell them it is a pontoon for a float plane. FRED

Try Grainger ind. I rebuild boats and get all my stainless and aluminum fasteners there.
