I will agree with staying away from ebay! If you can't see it & touch it, you may want to leave it alone. I drove half way across the country to pick up a car I bought off of ebay. What a joke! Lies, lies & more lies!!!!

Although ebay may be great for smaller purchases I would not make a high dollar purchase.

Also, Kijiji is a newer site run by ebay that has a boat section. Give that a shot as well. Good luck!

Seriously? Run by ebay? kijiji is one of my favourite sites for scouring deals - I had NO clue it was ebay ran.... wow!

I recommend kijiji too.. craigslist doesn't even list my city - but kijiji does....
