where to get 20 hp used parts? outboard junk yards?

I would like to convert my cable operated 1986 20 hp to a tiller drive, any ideas other than keeping an eye on e-bay? Any names of places or links would help me.<br /><br />Thanks

How old is it? The tiller models of the older ones are all over in the local marine recyclers yard. If there's a marine recycler nearby you should just take a walk through the yard and look for one.

My 20 hp is a 1986. <br /><br />I live in the So. Calif. area. I haven't been able to find any junkyards for outboards to walk thru. I looked online and found 2, one in Wi. and the other in Mi. I have e-mailed them.<br /><br /> Do you have any names of places that you know exist?<br /><br />Thanks
