My current flat-bottoms trailer is rusted to all hell and back.

So I picked myself up a new trailer, but the bunks and brackets are made to house a V-bottom.

i cant weld, and dont know anybody that could.

is there a bolt on alternative i could do?

You can buy pre-made galvanized bunk brackets,,, probably available here at Iboats, or a boat supply store, WorstMarine, etc...

I was too cheap and made some out of heavy gauge 3x3 angle iron scrap I had laying around. Free :D and much stronger then the ones on the trailer to begin with.

academy has bunk brackets, maybe even try a trailer supply store, if you want to do it yourself

go to a metal supply, buy some 1inch flat bar, stop in at home depot or lowes and grab a propane or mapp gas torch and a good set of drill bits.

heat the flat bar, bend it 90 degrees, punch some holes in it, punch some holes in your trailer, run some bolts thru it, BAM, new bunk brackets
