Where to get spanner wrench?

Any one know where to get the correct spanner wrench to fit the ram trim cap? I ordered one online and the oins are to big and do not fit the holes in the cap/

any yamaha dealer can order you the correct tool. they are made by K&L now I think. used to be kent moore.

I called B&T outboards & left a message for Bill have not heard back yet. Went to my Yamaha dealer and they want $156.00!!!!!! for the tool!<br />I even called K&L and they will not sell it direct.

Welcome to the world of special tools. On non saltwater motors you can carefully use a long punch to get it started or tightened. I don't use the spanner wrench often and it is not always where I thought it should be. Can be done before I can find the thing. Hard to properly retrain old folks.
