Where to install tabs

Here is a picture of my transom. I am not sure how to mount smart tabs on it. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Now thats a no brainer you only have one option and it's looks good right exactly where your tiedowns reside, you'll just have to relocate them that's fairly easy to do.

Why can't they be put on out farther away form the tie downs? Do you have a picture of the entire transom? Do you have room to mount them out farther?

I would not install where your tie down are, just too close to the engine.
Do you have a pictures of the hull form chine to chine. Normally you want them a inch or two in from the chines but if that part of the hull is also stepped above the water then they would not work. At that point the only option would be near you tie down but at far form the engine as you can and still have the actuators clear the hull. You would not be able to use the tie downs.
