Where to locate flat bottom boat specs?

Hi,

I just purchased a 1980, riveted Alumacraft. The title says it is an Alumacraft. It has been painted, and I barely found the hull ID number (ACBW0014M80J).

Does the hull ID tell you anything? I'm looking for weight and motor capacity.

It came with a 65 hp motor. I have not put the boat in the water yet, but plan on floating it tomorrow to check draft. It should draft pretty shallow.

It is 18' long. It has a 75" beam and is 58" at the nose (flat bottom - flat nose). The sides are about 22" measured on the outside of the boat and the transom is about 25" (raised transom with a "splash rail"?)...

It currently has carpeted plywood flooring which I intend to replace with aluminum. This boat will be for bowfishing and just cruising the river or lake. For bowfishing, I had planned on having a generator to power some lighting, so I want to make sure I do not overload the boat at all. I'd like to stay on the lighter side of things given the weight of the new flooring and all.

Thanks,
Justin

With the boat ID# tag Alumacraft can tell or even give you information about your boat. You can call Alumacraft at 507-931-1050 or email from their web site.

They're very helpful and seem to have it all. I asked questions and they even sent me a free build blue print for the boat floor of a Lunker 16 SS I had, as I was mounting sonar transducers under the floor.
