Where to look for model/serial number on evinrude 6 hp

I have looked pretty much everywhere on this old motor but no sign of a model number.

look around on the part that clamps to the boat both sides and between the screw clamps. it not there take the cover off the motor the should be a silver round disc on top of the engine with numbers on it.

It should be on the transom clasp......most likely on the port side like this.........


Otherwise like Tashasdaddy says, there should be a round metal plug stamped into the block somewhere that will have the engine numbers on it.
