Where to mount a shore power receptacle on a Chap 256SSi

I recently installed a battery charger/maintainer in my 2005 Chap 256SSi. I want to install a shore power plug on the stern so that I can easily plug in an extension cord.
The stern has a lot of curves and sloped parts (where the water fill cap and stern shower hose are located). Any ideas/suggestions where to mount the plug?

I would not hard mount a connector. Sooner or later water/condensation will get in and compromise the connector.

I would install a waterproof connector on a pigtail of sufficient length to be able to store it inside the boat
