I have a 1991 Evinrude 70 HP W/ the VRO disconnected. It has a standard 3/8" fuel line from the tank to the motor. What I need to know is: Where is the best place to put a Water/Fuel separating filter? I have a built in Tank on my Pontoon Boat and had some water in the gas problems.(See post "Water in Gas Tank"), about 6 posts down. Also, what is the maintenence of these filters and how do they work? Will I be able to tell when it's got water in it and what do I do when it does? Thanks And Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Wondering: Why do you post this twice in different forums?

UU, I believe I explained that in the other forum post. When I thought about it, it seemed to be an engine running related problem, more so than a Boat question! Excuse me for the double post and I sincerly apoligize for wasting your time. Thanks for the heads up!

No worries, Rick. I just wondered why.

Sometimes (new) members tries to get more or more rapid replies by submitting the same question in more forums. Didn't think this was your aim, so I wondered.

The downside of multiposting is, that it becomes impossible to follow the thread.

;)
