where to party at in laughlin or havasu?

ok so this weekend (memorial weekend) I will be going down to laughlin.
I will actually stay in bullhead with a bunch of friends that have never been. my question is where can i take them to show them where the party is . Ex Sandbar, london bridge etc etc... I heard they shut down the sand bar on big weekends, I also havent been there in 10 years. So where would you recommend to go? Launch? etc etc..

I also know its goin to be packed and a rat race to launch n stuff

Only place ive been to that i remember is katherines landing..

any advice would be a great help.

Welcome aboard.....If you go down to Havazoo make sure you get your boat in the water as early as possible and I've always liked launching at the Lake Havasu Marina it's 15 bucks a day or Windsor launch ramp is 10 bucks. I was just down there in April and weather was beautiful. Sand bar was open and popping, but not sure about on Memorial, there is also Copper Canyon but if you head in that cove plan on staying all day cuz there's no comeing out once your in, "packed jam". You can also just hang out in the channel, what ever you decide just watch out with the popo because there really comeing down hard now and last month they were all over the place, so I can just imagine this weekend.
