Just built a windshield for a 19-foot aluminum boat that didn't come with one. Now I need windshield support bars but don't know how high up the windshield and how far back I need to place the supports. The windshield is 26.5" high and slopes back 30 degrees. Should the bars be placed halfway up the windshield at 13 1/4" and extend back 13 1/4"?

Thanks, that helps. How far back from the base of the windshield should the anchor place be?

some place that is rock solid and stable. they can be straight up and down, or back at an angle. your just keeping the window from flopping around and ultimately fatiguing and breaking.
