Driving to work and heard it on the radio. I didn't believe it at first, denial I guess. As I was driving they reported that the towers had just collapsed.:'(

No TV at work so I had to wait til that night to see or hear any more. What a somber country this was in the week(s) following. I will never forget.

On 9-11? At a trade show in Las Vegas. Had to rent a car to drive back to PA.

When Reagan was shot? At work and was told about it later.

When the Pope was shot? Again at work.

When President Kennedy was shot? Aboard a Naval ship standing watch. The Radioman informed the Skipper, who made the announcement over the PA system.
