Which 1975 Starcraft model do I have?

Great forum! I bought this 1975 Starcraft 16' vessel last week from an older gentleman in his 80s in hopes of emulating the many here that've come before me. I scored the boat, motor (1975 Johnson 50 HP) + trailer for $350 as it has sat for the last 8+ years. It looks just like an SS except there's no windshield, port console nor bench seats. Thought it was a Kingfisher except that it has a splash well. See the pics. Any help on the model name?

Looks like you have a great project boat there. My guess is that it's a extremely modified 16' SS by the looks of it. I take it there's no capacity/ID plate remaining on the boat?

There is a plate, but it was painted over too & was pretty much illegible underneath. :blue:

I take that back. After removing some of the paint & editing the photo to make it easier to read, I found what I think reads: 16 SUS O/B

Can a kind soul tell me if their SS's plate has the Model 16 SUS O/B on it too? Bueller?
