Hey guys, Big Jay here again....
Got some new Plug Leads from the dealer today with my new coils for my Evinrude
. I told him I needed a foot and a half in length and would trim it accordingly upon installation. However, he gave me 2 leads at about a foot in length
.
At first I thought he wasn't paying attention, and now I had to tear it all apart to replace the lead that was too short. But now I'm wondering if this engine wasn't wired wrong to begin with, and he knows more than I give him credit for (likely the case:redface
.
I don't know that it ran before I got it, so it's entirely possible. I find I'm doubting myself.
So if the throttle is turned all the way down, I have a coil in the front of the engine and one at the back.
Which is which ?
The Model is 40853A, any clarity would be awesome, thanks.
