Put the cart before the horse again and built a console and installed a steering unit on my boat and after all this work I find out how expensive the controls are
The engine is an 82 2 stroke 30hp tohatsu and it is setup for controls and looks like it even had controls on it at one point in time. Im trying to buy a nissan unit off ebay but Im not sure what year it is for. Can someone tell me if that will matter and it would also be helpful if any other units might interchange. I only need something that will shift the gears and work the throttle because its a pull start engine and I can wire the kill switch without the control box. thanks
