I'm looking at some boats and Tahoe makes this boat:

2007 TAHOE - 216 WT - 21.6 ft about 3400lbs

Here are the engine/drive combo's. Any suggetions? How do I decide which drive is needed for this boat?

MerCruiser? 4.3L 190 HP V-6 - Standard $ 27,495*
MerCruiser? 4.3L MPI 220 HP V-6 - $ 1,750 $ 29,245*
MerCruiser? 5.0 MPI 260 HP V-8 Alpha - $ 3,820 $ 31,315*
MerCruiser? 5.0 MPI 260 HP V-8 Bravo 1 -$ 4,685 $ 32,180*
MerCruiser? 5.0 MPI 260 HP V-8 Bravo 3 -$ 5,620 $ 33,115*
MerCruiser? 5.0L 220 HP V-8 - $ 1,450 $ 28,945*
MerCruiser? 5.7L 250 HP V-8 - $ 3,625 $ 31,120*

Personal choice matter. I would want the top dog, but would probably take the 220hp 5.0 V8 over the V6's. If I had the $$$ to upgrade a bit, it would be the 260 MPI Bravo1 in that boat.

I'd go with the MerCruiser? 5.0 MPI 260 HP V-8 Bravo 3 -$ 5,620 $ 33,115*...

The Bravo 3 is a duo-prop and I think you'll like the performance you get out of it... Since it is 2 counter-rotating props, you will have superior wholeshot, cornering and backing up will not be affected like a single prop will tend to steer great in one direction only, less in the other direction... the Duo is equal in both directions.
