Folks,<br /><br />Starting to rig my rebuild, 18 ft. Mitchell w/Suzuki 140 4 stroke. I am looking to fit a GPS and Fish finder.<br /><br />I fish mostly the flats near Clearwater Florida (Just north around Anclote Key). I will venture offshore only a few miles 10-15 max. If I can't see the stacks from the power plant I am to far out.<br /><br />I have been advised not to go nuts with the finder and GPS (since you can spend a bundle if you like), mostly because I will be in less than 20 ft. of water most of the time.<br /><br />So what manufacturer? Dual use GPS and Finder together? Any special add-ons? I am a recreational fisherman, I plan on being in the water (on the water) as much as possible, probably only once or twice a week.<br /><br />Any and all advise is greatly appreciated.<br /><br />Peace.<br /><br />Ed.
