What would you put on a 17ft Rinker outboard with a Johnson 88 SPL:

1. Sport 300 Hydrofoil $49
2. StingRay? Speed-XP $49
3. StingRay? Speed-XPII $69

?

none of the above use Smart Tabs- $120 bucks on sale now at Iboats check out the website and read the difference.

totally agree. good iboaters, give those thing to people they don't like. they are ugly, and scream i have a planning problem, and too cheap to fix it correctly. they put the stress on the engine, which transfers it to the top of the transom, where the boat is not designed to to handle that load. smart tabs, put the stress on the bottom of the transom, and lifts from the bottom where it's design to be.

None of the above, is the correct answer.
If the manufacturers of these engines, had any idea that these add ons would make a boat perform better, I believe that they would be making them already on the engines.

I love hydrofoil threads just because of tashasdaddy's replies. I agree with him though. Don't waste your money on that garbage.

I have the speed xp on my 15' trihull 85'hp with no trim. Great product!

As the others said don't waste your money on these gadgets, I had them and went to Smart Tabs what a difference in performance. JC.
