through prop you lose 300rpms :(under about 700 hp no you don't and that sweeet sound of them 8 drums beating :) thankfully

and what if you don't have a prop (smokeonthewate/ rallyart) :)

If you don't have a prop, or for an inboard, I'd vote for flappers and big quiet mufflers:cool:

i have a boat with a 502mpi 345hp stock in it with silent choice exhaust and with a flip of the switch would be 300rpms different :)

the angle tips do have flappers plus all motor cooling water dumps thur the ex. and passed dnr ex test

5200= sealant and adhesive.4200= sealant works well and you can still get them off.Be sure to marine tex the transom holes first to seal any wood in case whichever sealant you use leaks

use 4200... silicone is not the correct material.

i have never used the 4200 BUT have heard lots of good things about it

x2 on the sealing of the wood first

Kevin.. your right it's NOT the correct material no argument there (no for marine use on tube HeHe) !! but it does work well for me and a lot of others..JMO:)

yup.... my mantra in buy the cheap stuff and change it often.... once you use 4200 you'll never go back to sillycone... getcha some you won't regret it.... BTW keep it in the freezer between uses and a partial tube will last for years.
