Which manual?

First, sorry if this is in the wrong spot, second, I am sure this has been brought up a few times in the past sorry for bringing it up again. So, looking for service manuals for my boat. It has a 5.7L with an Alpha outdrive. Looking at factory manuals, but what numbers do I need? Seems like #14 for the outdrive, but what about the engine itself? Or would I be better getting a Seloc/Clymers manual? Thanks!

Manual #17 is for all 5.7L engines from 93 to 97

So for #17 it seems like I need two books correct? So, if I buy the two #17's and the one #14 that should be what I need for any work I will do. .

Why don't you just download them for free, then print out the pages you may need?

If you were to order the paper manuals, it would include both books. Just makes the complete manual easier to handle.
