1995 Evinrude 90 Looper- Purchased November of 2009. My new main ride. Awesome motor.

1976 Johnson 85hp - My main ride - purrs like a kitten. Edit: Sold May of 2010

1956 Johnson 30hp - Fixed up a few years back - runs great. Plan full restore one of these years.

1965 Evinrude 9.5 - Bought as a youngster in '85. It was a mess (exhaust leaks/poor compression). Cut my outboard teeth getting it running right.

1968 Johnson 6hp - Got the outboard bug again and bought it last week for $120. Just got done going over carbs, ignition and water pump. Going to fire it up this weekend. I'm thinking two pulls max.

1949 2.5hp - Picked up a few years ago. Runs but not terribly well - has issues. One of these days I'll feel motivated to get this one sorted out.

Had a few other Johnsons and Evinrudes in my past and one Force.

If one didn't know Minn Kota usually is found on boats along with all outboard brands, it's 4th place could be misleading over the other brand of outboards.

2004 Mercury Drag race engine, 300+HP V6, more power than you can imagine
2005 Johnson 9.9 2-stroke
1989 Evinrude 3hp
2000 Yamaha 8hp 2-stroke
2009 Yamaha 15hp 2-stroke
1973 Evinrude 6hp, never run since new

i have a few johnson and evinrude outboards and love every minute of them. Just got my first suzuki, which lead me here because it does not want to play nice. I love omc and look forward to selling my suzuki, i feel like it is a pos. not happy with it. I have pulled omc's out of the mud at scrap yards and got them running well after a day and less then a hundreed bucks, my suz, arrived running and can't seem to keep it that way.

I have a 1985 45hp Johnson commercial outboard. Not sure why, but this model year was only in Canada, but it's a Belgium model. ??

I also have a 1974 Evinrude 20hp....stripped down.

I just bought 1976 Venture Tri-hull. Has 19?? Mercury Model 800 (80 horse). The serial number 1460796.

1984 Force 85 HP most reliable piece of equipment ever produced.
1976 18HP Johnson haven't used in 18 years.

honda 2 for inftable tender ship to shore
big yanmar inboard for the sailboat

I've got a 2001 9.9 Mariner...love this motor on the 12' aluminium. Being able to control speed direction, all with one hand while trolling is great

I've also got a 2004 9.9 High Trust Yamaha as the trolling motor on my 2601 Striper. Pushing this boat right along, and will run all day on less tha 4 gallons of gas.

Both great little outboards

196? Johnson 75 hp Super Sea Horse magneto

Just got the Super Sea Horse on a project but it has low compression and needs a clutch.

2010 Mercury 115hp 4-stroke - on the water twice and never failed to start either
