Which Parts Are Needed-water pump change

I have a Mercury V200 1980-81, I am planning on replacing the water pump useing the SIE183316 Complete Water Pump Housing Kit SIERRA, INC. $31.63. I need to know if I also need the SIE182653 GEAR HOUSING SEAL KIT SIERRA, INC. $48.88. The water pump kit has most of the same seals and gaskets. I just don't want to tear it down and then have to order the seal kit and wait 7 to 10 days. Do most water pump kits have everything to put everything back together?

The water pump kit should have everything you need. Good time to change the L/U oil too.

Yep got new oil and 3 manuals but I noticed that the manuals don't tell you what you need to complete a job so I thought I would ask.

if you've got no water in gear lube issues, then leave the lower seals and water pump base alone. save them for the day you need them. if they ain't broke then don't fix.
